Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. By accessing or using the FamilyUnion website, mobile application, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

1. Service Description & Subscription

FamilyUnion provides a private communication and safety platform for families. Access to the Services requires a paid subscription ($9.99/month or $99/year).

  • Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis according to our internal Refund Policy.

2. User Responsibilities & Conduct

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must not use the Services to harass, abuse, stalk, or harm another person.
  • Guardians are responsible for the activity of Child accounts under their supervision.

3. Location Services & Safety Features

Our Services utilize location tracking to provide safety features. By enabling these features, you consent to the collection and display of location data to members of your specific Family Circle. Accuracy of location data depends on device sensors and network availability; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free location tracking.

4. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of the Services (excluding user-generated content) are owned by FamilyUnion and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. FAMILYUNION DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMILYUNION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
